Overview

Katherine Ison is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Group at Gray Ice Higdon. She represents companies and individuals in business disputes of all kinds, including breach of contract, tort, fraud, and defamation cases. Licensed in both Kentucky and Indiana, Katherine provides detail-focused, organized, and clear representation to clients facing complex litigation.

Katherine works with mid- to large-sized companies, as well as individuals and small businesses, across a spectrum of commercial disputes. Breach of contract cases are the most common, but her practice also includes restrictive covenant matters and any other business related conflicts.

Katherine is committed to advancing inclusivity and belonging within the legal profession. She co-founded the Black Women Louisville Lawyers Networking Group to foster mentorship and professional connection, and sits on Gray Ice Higdon’s Inclusivity and Belonging Committee.

Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys playing tennis, spending time with family and friends, and exploring Louisville’s restaurant scene.
