Matthew Murtland is a registered patent attorney and a member of the intellectual property practice group and focuses his practice primarily in the area of patent prosecution where he focuses on software- and technology-related patents.
Matt has a M.S. in Computer Science with a concentration on Data Mining and Analytics from the University of Louisville, J.B. Speed School of Engineering where he took courses in the areas of algorithm design and analysis, software engineering, data analytics, data mining with linear modeling, machine learning and artificial intelligence which have prepared him for the ever-evolving world of today’s technology-driven landscape and the pace at which it changes.
In his spare time Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, attending soccer and gymnastics events, cycling with friends and always learning something new.
