Overview

Olivia is a registered Patent Attorney specializing in patent prosecution across the computer science, electrical, and mechanical engineering sectors. Admitted to practice in Kentucky and before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, Olivia provides clients with a sophisticated technical perspective rooted in five years of high-level industry experience. Prior to her legal career, she served as an engineer at GE Appliances, a Haier Company as part of the Edison Engineering Development Program. During her tenure, she mastered the complexities of embedded software, electromechanical systems, and technical project management—a multidisciplinary foundation she now leverages to help innovators protect their most intricate designs.

Olivia earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School, cum laude, where she was an active member of the Journal of Emerging Technologies, the IP Moot Court Team, and the LGBT Law Forum. Her legal practice is built upon a rigorous technical background, including a Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Louisville, cum laude, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Centre College, magna cum laude.

A former dual-sport collegiate athlete and captain of the women’s soccer team at Centre, Olivia brings a disciplined, competitive edge to her intellectual property practice. When she is not drafting claims or navigating the USPTO, she is most often found in the fresh air—whether she is cheering on the Irish, skiing, kayaking, or wandering through the woods with her family and their yellow lab.
