Rocky Nastasi

Rocky Nastasi is a paralegal in Gray Ice Higdon’s Intellectual Property practice. He works with a wide range of clients, including large multinational organizations, innovative startups, and individual inventors through the firm’s pro bono program. Rocky assists clients in safeguarding their inventions and supports organizations in managing and maintaining their intellectual property portfolios.

Rocky is known for being hardworking, trustworthy, and dependable. He brings a calm, detail-oriented approach to his work while keeping deadlines front and center, ensuring that quality and timeliness are maintained even under pressure.

Rocky supports attorneys and clients across a range of intellectual property matters. His work includes assisting with portfolio management, supporting invention protection efforts, managing filings and deadlines, and communicating with clients to keep matters moving efficiently.

He is recognized for being responsive and approachable, and for consistently being available to help—no matter the size or urgency of the task.

Rocky supports the firm’s pro bono efforts with Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts (TALA) by assisting with filings and client communications to help ensure deadlines are met and matters run smoothly.

His approach to work is shaped by patience, adaptability, and teamwork—qualities developed through experience at both large international law firms and small IP boutique practices. Sports have played an important role in his life, teaching him the value of collaboration and connection.

Outside of work, Rocky enjoys spending time with his family and supporting his three youngest daughters in their sports activities. He played sports in high school and now enjoys golfing and bowling.
