Overview

Elisabeth “Libby” Gray is a Louisville-based commercial litigation attorney with a national practice, representing clients across the United States in trade secret disputes, restrictive covenant enforcement, non-compete cases, and complex business litigation. She works with organizations of every size—from Fortune 100 companies to closely held businesses—helping them protect what matters most.

What sets Libby apart is her ability to bring order to chaos. Clients often describe her as both a strategic thinker and a steady guide, someone who makes litigation manageable by focusing on the big picture and providing clear, practical steps forward.

Practice Focus

Libby has devoted her career to commercial litigation since 1998, and practiced for 24 years at major Louisville Firms before Gray Ice Higdon, where she now serves as Principal Partner and Managing Partner of Gray Ice Higdon.

Libby has built her reputation on responsiveness, thorough communication, and cost-conscious strategy. She understands that litigation can be overwhelming, and she is committed to giving clients not only strong courtroom advocacy but also confidence and clarity throughout the process.

Her service on the Jefferson County Business Court Pilot Project Committee gives her rare insight into judicial perspectives—knowledge she uses to anticipate challenges and design strategies that deliver results in both state and federal courts nationwide.
