Elizabeth Threlkeld is an associate attorney in Gray Ice Higdon’s intellectual property practice group. She is a Registered Patent Attorney and focuses her practice on patent prosecution and other aspects of intellectual property. Prior to attending law school, she completed a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Memphis where she focused on applying biologically inspired convolutional neural networks to facial identification in the Intelligent Systems Image Processing Laboratory. She additionally designed and taught undergraduate and graduate level coursework in the Embedded Systems Laboratory.
While at Tulane University, in addition to receiving a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering, she developed a passion for robotics and received a minor in Robotics and Automation. Additionally, she had an internship with the Navy Primary Standards Laboratory at North Island Naval Air Station.
Elizabeth uses her background in artificial intelligence, deep learning, image processing, robotics, and embedding systems to focus her practice on developing patents in a wide range of electrical and computer related fields.
