Outside of work, Maddie is a certified yoga instructor and an enthusiastic outdoor adventurer, having tried activities ranging from rock climbing to roller skating. She also enjoys drawing, painting, film photography, writing, cooking, and biking at Cherokee Park.
As a Litigation Paralegal at Gray Ice Higdon, Maddie Hamblin helps the firm’s attorneys manage the day to day demands of litigation, from legal research and discovery to data preservation and pleadings review. Her work behind the scenes keeps cases organized and moving forward.
Maddie brings a rare vantage point to her paralegal work. Before entering the legal field, she spent time as a court reporter and legal videographer, sitting in on depositions across the region and working closely with attorneys, witnesses, and court technology. That experience taught her how much weight a single piece of testimony can carry, and it built the relationship building instincts she now applies to every case she supports.
Maddie earned her B.A. in Religious Studies from Centre College in 2020. Her path from the court reporting world into paralegal work has given her a grounded, practical understanding of litigation from multiple angles, one she continues to build on with every matter.
B.A., Religious Studies, Centre College (2020)
