Shreyash is a member of the firm’s intellectual property practice group. His work mainly focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the area of electrical, computer and software technologies related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models, cloud computing, neural networks and others. He brings a unique blend of Electrical Engineering and Intellectual Property-focused studies and expertise to his role.
Shreyash has diverse experience of protecting clients’ Intellectual Property in spaces such as EVs, battery technologies, vehicle management, mobile applications, GPS, and more.
After completing his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, he worked as a Software Engineer and then pursued LL.B (Hons. in IP Law) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. Shreyash then obtained registrations with the Bar Council of India and gained valuable experience with one of the leading IP law firms in New Delhi, India. He represented clients before the Delhi High Court, District Courts, Indian Patent Office and other tribunals before advancing his education in the United States. Shreyash completed his LL.M. degree specializing in Intellectual Property Law at The George Washington University Law School, where he was awarded with the merit scholarship for international legal education. During this time, Shreyash was also an active member of SIPLA (Student Intellectual Property Law Association).
After graduating from the GW Law School, Shreyash worked with an IP firm based in Texas where he focused on patent drafting and prosecution in embedded systems, software defined networks (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV).
