Outside of work, Rocky enjoys spending time with his family and supporting his three youngest daughters in their sports activities. He played sports in high school and now enjoys golfing and bowling.

Rocky began his legal career in 2006 as a practice assistant at Pillsbury Winthrop, where he supported litigation teams and assisted trial attorneys in preparing for court. In 2011, he relocated to Austin and joined Abel IP, a boutique intellectual property firm, where he spent five years developing experience in IP work.
He later joined Eversheds Sutherland, where he worked for nine and a half years, supporting complex intellectual property portfolios for a broad range of clients. Rocky now brings that experience to Gray Ice Higdon, continuing to support attorneys and clients in protecting innovations and managing IP strategies.
