Juris Doctor and bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics required. Must have 1 yr. experience working in the engineering/industrial area or 1 yr. experience in engineering/physics research. Lab research in an engineering area may substitute for other work experience. Must have 1 yr. experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the semiconductor and software-based technology areas. Must be qualified to sit for a state law licensing bar exam. Must be eligible to sit for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office patent bar exam or have already passed the USPTO patent bar exam.
