It also involves taking steps to enforce rights, such as sending cease and desist communications and pursuing legal action with administrative and judicial bodies, as well as assisting clients to defend against allegations of infringement or other violations of rights.
Joe actively manages international trademark portfolios for large corporate clients. For several years, he was integrated within a global company’s in-house legal team to provide the business with intellectual property support. Joe also assists start-up companies, businesses of all sizes, artists, authors, and entrepreneurs with intellectual property, advertising, and technology-related matters. His experience spans a diverse range of industries including agriculture, apparel, software and technology, healthcare, hospitality, food and dietary supplements, alcoholic beverages, consumer products, medical devices, professional services, sports and gaming, and industrial equipment.
